We have 15 places available to LUPC full members on a first-come, first-served basis for this online workshop on credible evidence. This is the second of a two-part series of practical online workshops for public buyers to ensure your suppliers comply with your socially responsible public procurement requirements to protect workers’ rights throughout the supply chain.

Asking the right questions to get better information from suppliers

This webinar will help you to:

  • Detect lazy cut-and-paste reporting from suppliers
  • Consider ways to score tenders based on the quality of evidence and where it comes from
  • Consider potential criteria and KPIs to improve transparency and accountability from your suppliers
  • Know how to assess different types of information, primary and secondary data
  • Exercise greater leverage with suppliers to be more transparent about what they know and what they do about human rights risks at different stages of the procurement cycle.

Who should attend
The webinar is not limited to a specific sector and is relevant to everyone responsible for public procurement at all stages of the contract cycle.

Workshop format
The 1.5 hour virtual workshop will be participatory. It will begin with an initial presentation, followed by small group discussions to brainstorm ideas prompted by some questions and scenarios. The session will conclude with an all-group sharing of practical tips.

Joining information
We will send you a registration link to access the zoom joining link by 27 October. Please ensure you complete the registration link before the day of the webinar itself to avoid any issues with receiving the joining instructions.
