Leadership Development Workshop for Heads of Procurement

Following on from the well-received leadership sessions at the UKUPC Conference 2023, we will be holding a full-day Leadership Development Workshop especially for Heads of Procurement at LUPC full member organisations. The course will be run by Alex Firmin, Organisational Psychologist at Promethean Executive.
We have 30 free places available for Heads of Procurement level, limited to one attendee per member organisation.
Outcomes of the course
- Define your values, beliefs, and professional identity as a leader.
- Evaluate different leadership styles, and approaches to communication; identify your preferred style.
- Appraise different personalities and strengths in a team context, and how to leverage different people’s strengths.
- Identify how to plan for and engage colleagues through change.

About the trainer
Alex Firmin is a registered and accredited Organisational Psychologist and has spent the last 20 years working in leadership development. He holds a teaching position at The University of York, where he supports Psychology and Management programmes, and he is the founder of Promethean Executive, a consultancy organisation with the objective of helping leaders and leadership teams to flourish. Their courses are developed with the latest evidence-based practice in leadership, coaching, and organisational psychology, and balance training with active contribution to research.
