We’re delighted to announce that Ami, our first ever apprentice, has officially passed her Apprenticeship - achieving a distinction in her final end point assessment.
Ami joined LUPC in January 2024 after deciding to leave university and pursue a more hands-on path into the world of work. “After deciding to leave university, I knew I wanted to be a part of an apprenticeship scheme,” she explained. “While looking at different specialties I was interested in, this opportunity eventually came up. I researched further into both LUPC and procurement as a whole - the LUPC’s prestigious member list is what initially intrigued me, and the depth of procurement strengthened my desire to apply.”
Since joining, Ami has truly embraced every learning opportunity. When asked what she has enjoyed most about procurement so far, she said: “It is difficult to choose a singular favourite thing, but the variety is the most fascinating. There are so many avenues and opportunities - the different commodities within LUPC have really expanded my knowledge and interest.”
We’re incredibly proud of Ami’s dedication and her well-deserved success.
Congratulations Ami - here’s to your bright future in procurement!
