At LUPC’s Board meeting today (14th Sept) the following candidates were appointed to the Board:


Peter Nickals, Head of Finance, LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Drama)

Peter joined LAMDA in 2015 as Head of Finance. Responsibilities management of the finance department, procurement and is a chartered accountant (CIMA).

Before joining LAMDA, was the School Accountant for Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University.


Caroline Heckscher, Procurement Director, University of London

Caroline Heckscher has been a member of the LUPC Executive Committee for a number of years now.

She has previously worked for the London Borough of Lambeth and for OGC Buying Solutions.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Sociology, English at Queen's University Belfast.


Linda Alexander, Head of Facilities Management, Ravensbourne University London

Linda joined Ravensbourne University London in 2016 as the Head of Facilities Management. Her responsibilities include compliance management of the outsourced FM Contract and to strategically manage all estates and facilities matters. Linda holds an MSc in Facilities Management, NEBOSH health and safety and is a certified member of the British Institute of Facilities Management.

Before joining Ravensbourne, Linda held a number of Facilities Management positions, formerly the Head of Facilities for the Royal Society. Linda has experience of managing both in-house facilities teams and outsourced facilities management contracts.


All three new members will attend their first Board meeting in December.

Both the existing members who were due for re-election, Neil Greenwood and Dr Olga Martin-Ortega have also agreed to stand for another three years.
