Annual Returns Database

The Annual Returns Database is a vital management information tool that drives collaborative procurement within the Higher Education (HE) sector. The Annual Returns Database is used by consortia to collect and analyse the non-pay spend of their member institutions.

The data has become increasingly useful for the following reasons:

1. To allow LUPC to provide institutions with savings reports highlighting area’s of leakage thus ensuring better agreement compliance to provide greater savings
2. It allows institutions and consortia to identify suppliers and commodity areas that can benefit from professional procurement activity at local, regional and national levels.
3. To ensure LUPC members continue to get improved value from agreements.

What we need from you

• We require all your suppliers spend data from the period of 1^st August 2010 to 31^st July 2011.
• An excel spreadsheet listing all the suppliers with whom your institutions has traded with spend above £2000 including VAT
• Separate columns for SUPPLIER NAMES, SPEND (Ex VAT in GBP only) and if possible postcodes and VAT Numbers.
