LUPC is pleased to announce the award of the new Framework Agreement for the Supply of Periodicals, Serials and Associated Services Reference LUPC-PER10, for LUPC and The North West Academic Libraries (NoWAL) Members. The Framework Agreement runs for one year, with an option to extend the term for up to a further twelve months. This agreement consists of three lots; Lot 1 Printed Materials only, Lot 2 Electronic only and Lot 3 Print and Electronic Materials for Members who wish to engage with a single supplier.
Benefits of using the Agreement:
- Highly competitive pricing, with content title discounts and additional technology savings
- An OJEU-compliant route through which LUPC and NoWAL Members can purchase published content and associated services
- A Framework designed with Libraries specifically in mind, with the specification designed and agreed by a Specialist Library Project Group
- An excellent set of Service Level Agreement tools for LUPC and NoWAL Members, to help manage the services provided.
Calling off:
There is one supplier for lots one and two and three suppliers in Lot three Framework lot, meaning that there are two options open for calling off from the Agreement: direct award (without reopening competition) and mini-competition. A detailed explanation on each of these approaches is provided in the Agreement Guide, along with information on each of the Suppliers, pricing, a Service Level Agreement to follow on cupid.
